Today it is two months since my surgery. The last couple of days has been really cold in Gothenburg with a lot of sun and some snow. With other words wonderful winter weather.
I have been longing for some skiing but I am not ready for down hill skiing or telemark skiing. Therefore I tested my cross country skis on a lake today. Unfortunately the sun wasn’t shining and the wind was really chilly. I skied for about an hour on the frozen lake and the skiing went alright. I took it very carefully because it felt a little rusty.
Afterwards my muscles around my knees felt like an ordinary workout session on the gym. Hopefully the cold weather will continue so I am looking forward to another cross country tour.
